Beginning his career in networking, he quickly transitioned into trading floor support, establishing himself as a key industry player. Following the tragic events of 9/11, Robert was entrusted with the critical task of rebuilding Merrill Lynch’s trading floors—a testament to his expertise and reliability. His exceptional performance led Merrill Lynch to retain him as a permanent consultant, during which he successfully led numerous high-profile projects.

Throughout his illustrious career, Robert has held several prestigious positions, including Vice President, Head of Technology, and Chief Technology Officer, within some of New York City’s top hedge funds, banks, and wealth management firms. His extensive experience spans all aspects of technology, from hands-on tasks like troubleshooting hardware issues to overseeing and implementing comprehensive IT strategies for large financial organizations.

In addition to his roles in major firms, Robert maintained a consulting practice where he identified a significant gap in IT resources between small to medium-sized businesses and their larger counterparts. Driven by a desire to level the playing field, he founded Gradius IT Solutions.
